Kobayashi’s performance in 2012 integrated scoring points in nine races in which he also scored one platform during the Japanese GP. His points were expensive to Sauber F1 in securing the sixth standing in the constructors’ contest. He increases a total of 60 championship points by the end of the period. It is unsatisfactory that he could not preserve his position with Sauber F1 in spite of his obvious performance.
Bottas replaced Bruno Senna as he unsuccessful to achieve as compared to his colleague Maldonado. Senna is also the nephew of the late Brazilian Ayrton Senna. The driver is not predictable to secure a race seat at this instant but there are still a few alternatives open with Caterham’s and Force India having not proclaimed their driver line up yet.
Senna achieve points in ten races with only two retirements in the entire season although he confess that his performance was hurt due to missing out on the perform conference that were given to Bottas instead. He scored 31 points in the whole period with a 16th overall position in the drivers’ contest.
HRT as a team will not be incoming the 2013 F1 season as it failed to find any consumer after it was put up for sale in November. It leaves De la Rosa and Karthikeyan deficient a race seat but still naught has been confirmed.
Schumacher’s first retreat had been in 2006 when he was driving for Ferrari and pursue his eighth F1 world title in which he was not victorious. He remained a consultant for the Italian team during his years of deficiency from racing. He returned to F1 in 2010 on a three-year contract with the Mercedes team which is first F1 group from the company after they purchases BrawnGP since 1955.
