The 2013 Formula One season will have an added race in Europe, with the location yet to be determined, to make up for a delayed Grand Prix in New Jersey, the decision body FIA said on Wednesday.
The FIA World Motorsport committee motivated the German Grand Prix onward by one week to July 7, and July 21 "has been reticent for another F1 European event, topic to the endorsement of the relevant ASNs (national bodies)."
The German race will now approach a week after the British race. The FIA did not proclaim a venue, as the intended site, the Nuerburgring, is in deep monetary difficulty and may not be talented to stage the race.
The July 21 race is a week in front of Hungary, and could see a revisit to Turkey, which hosted an F1 race 2005-2011. A French GP, last on the F1 calendar in 2008, is also allegedly a option, with Magny Cours or Le Castellet being the probable places.
F1 was initially due to see its debut in New Jersey on June 16, 2013, in place of the plunge European GP in Valencia, but that race has been delayed. The July 21 race brings the agenda back to 20 races.
FIA also said that teams can no longer claim excellent situation - "force majeure" - when cars don't revisit to the pits after be eligible and stop on the track, a move intended to clamp down on fuel subject after world winner Sebastian Vettel and Lewis Hamilton conventional grid penalty in 2012 for stopping on the track with not sufficient fuel.
